Before joining Rose in 2020, Jacob worked at the City of Toronto for 9 years as an Executive Assistant to a Toronto City Councillor. In that role, Jacob was responsible for issues and projects related to planning, transit, transportation, the City of Toronto budget and parks and recreation.

Jacob graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A. (Hons.) in Media, Information and Technoculture and also completed a Graduate Studies program at Centennial College in Advertising Account Management.
