Sam Reisman - Chief Executive Officer
Sam is the principal founder of The Rose Corporation. He has over 25 years
of real estate development experience, primarily in residential building
and development.
Howard Steinberg - Chief Investment Officer
Howard has over 20 years of real estate and corporate investment experience. Most recently he headed the Canadian office of Fortress Investment Group. Prior to that, he held senior positions within RBC and GE Capital. Howard has an MBA from Ivey Business School, is a CFA Charterholder, and joined Rose in 2009.
Martin Simon - Chief Operating Officer
Martin is a Chartered Accountant with over 35 years experience in the real
estate industry and has been with the company since 1984. He was formerly
President of The Rose Corporation during its years in the residential
development business.
Kirk Lloyd – Vice President, Finance
Kirk is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years experience in the real
estate industry. Kirk joined the company in 2004 and was previously with
Deloitte & Touche, Acanthus Real Estate, and First Professional Shopping
Centres.
Daniel Berholz – Head of Asset Management
Dan has over 11 years of real estate development, sales, and leasing experience. He originally joined Rose Corporation in 2004 and has been the Vice President of Development at Cadan, Rose’s strategic development partner, for the past five years. Dan holds a BA in Urban Development from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Rob MacCuspic – Associate Director, Real Estate Division
Rob is a certified management accountant with over 20 years experience in
real estate finance, accounting, and development at Counsel Corporation, Manzer
Realty, and Rose. He joined the company in 1998 and works in the real
estate financing group.
Matthew Fishman – Associate Director, Real Estate Division
Matthew has three years investment banking experience working in the United States for CRT Capital Holdings. Matthew joined Rose in 2007 and works in the real estate financing group.
Shanta Deebrah – Senior Controller
Shanta is a Certified General Accountant with over 25 years
experience in finance, accounting, and taxation. She joined Rose in
2007 and previously worked with Epstein Enterprises Inc., Nasello
Francella & Krishna, KPMG, and Deloitte & Touche.
Sheldon Szeto– Director of Corporate Analysis
Sheldon has over 15 years experience in the real estate industry, including financial analysis, financing, and real estate development (in Hong Kong and China). Sheldon joined Rose in 2007 and previously worked with Sunny Land Investment (Hong Kong), Manulife Investments and Real Estate REITs. Sheldon has an MBA from the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management.
