FOR NEW $250 MILLION FILM/MEDIA COMPLEX

Toronto Film Studios
Located minutes from downtown Toronto, the Toronto Film Studios is the
largest facility of its kind in Canada. This 12 acre complex has over
360,000 sq. ft. of shooting stages, production offices, construction shops,
and other film support areas. Film stages range in size from 1,500 sq. ft.
to 40,000 sq. ft. The Toronto Film Studios also offers a number of
specialized standing sets including a wide-body airplane, a New York style
apartment, a police station and a Brownstone apartment.
The Toronto Film Studios attracts major Hollywood films and has been home to
such productions as Cinderella Man, 16 Blocks, The Sentinel, and many
others. The stages are also used for the production of TV commercials,
movies-of-the-week, and episodic television series.
A 10 acre property adjacent to the Studio was recently acquired for
expansion. Development plans are in process.
Heward Broadcast Centre
In the spring of 2003 the Heward Broadcast Centre, located adjacent to the
Toronto Film Studios, was added to the portfolio. The property includes
86,000 sq. ft. of film and broadcast studios.
